Bastille Day-great party!
Yesterday was a great day. Coq au vin, champagne, raspberries...the women wore berets that belonged to our hostess' mother. We listened Paris Combo live, Pink Martini, Brigitte Bardot and Edith Piaf. Everyone had a story about a trip to France, Italy or Dubai. I took my profile photo on the way...trying to look French. Today's book is a re-read of Spalding Gray's Swimmng to Cambodia. Mentioned in his epic monologue is a referece to a name long forgotten: Bebe Rebozo. How could I have forgotten a name like that? It's poetry, or at least a tongue twister.

Oh, how I remember my father's left-wing schoolyard taunt regarding Mr. Rebozo:
"BE-BE Re-BOZO!Couldn't pick his nose-OH!"
